To guarantee the highest quality in its heat treatments, MGT has a dedicated metrology department for hardness measurements, equipped with three certified ball-type instruments specifically designed for light alloys. These testers, regularly calibrated and subjected to official inspections, make it possible to precisely verify the behavior of aluminum and its alloys after each thermal cycle.

The combination of manual and electronic instruments provides complete and versatile control: on one hand, the sensitivity and expertise of the operator; on the other, the reliability of digital readings. This balance ensures consistent and repeatable results over time—an essential requirement for confirming the correct execution of solution heat treatments, aging cycles, or annealing processes.

The measurement department is a key element of MGT’s philosophy: every part is carefully analyzed, the data is recorded, and the results are compared with the expected parameters in a continuous verification process that accompanies every stage of production.
