Aluminum is the material on which MGT has built more than fifty years of experience, specializing in heat treatments dedicated to light alloys, mainly serving the foundry sector. Thanks to a deep understanding of its physical characteristics and of the behavior of the various alloys during thermal cycles, the company is able to offer highly controlled, stable, and repeatable treatments.

Aluminum castings benefit significantly from processes such as solution heat treatment, aging, annealing, and stress relieving, which improve mechanical properties, hardness, structural strength, and machinability. Each cycle is calibrated according to the specific alloy, the geometry of the component, and the customer’s requirements, ensuring results that meet the highest standards.

The updated machinery—consisting of chamber furnaces and electric pit furnaces—allows the treatment of components of varying sizes and complexity, ensuring thermal uniformity and precise process parameters. Thanks to its internal laboratory and dedicated control systems, MGT guarantees constant monitoring of the cycles and certified quality throughout the process.
